Seasonal Tax Preparer

We are looking for a qualified person to interview clients, prepare their income tax returns and also prepare tax returns for clients whom were interviewed by others.
Ideal candidates will have at least three tax seasons of tax preparation experience, mostly in the preparation of individual tax returns. Fiduciary, partnership and corporate tax return experience would be a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good people skills for interacting with our staff and clients are necessary to be effective and successful in this position. You should be flexible, hard working and have the ability to thrive in a small firm, “roll-up-your-sleeves and get the work done” environment.

We are a small, professional office located near Coddingtown in Santa Rosa, where quality and integrity are a high priority. Our business prepares income tax returns, financial plans and manages client investment accounts on a fee-only basis. We offer a professional working environment, with a friendly and warm atmosphere. We believe in serving our clients well, being prompt, courteous, honest and accurate in all of our dealings.

Work will be on a “per diem” basis, which means we pay you by the hour for the number of hours that are required. This could be full-time or part-time work. The hourly rate depends on your level of tax experience. Generally, this rate is between $20 and $40 per hour. This position is for tax season only.
